This is Terra, the first Terracoon. She gave birth to wonderful kittens including Benson, Keeper and Ginger. Below is her first litter. Terra is now retired.

Terracoon Maine Coons is a small cattery in a private home north of Philadelphia where kittens are raised underfoot. The adult MCs are our household pets. Our breeders are carefully selected from championship lines for health, temperament, and show qualities. Breeders are in excellent health and have been tested for cardiomyopathy and feline leukemia. DNA testing has been done on five Terracoon breeding cats, including Boswell, Mistral, Viva, Ginger and Abby. All are negative for the cardiomyopathy mutation All kittens are given two sets of shots and a certificate of health before going into selective homes at 12 weeks of age. Our policy is to not ship kittens. We like to meet the folks who will have our kittens. It is helpful for prospective owners to provide a letter of introduction or recommendation from their Veterinarian. We want our babies to have the best homes!
